Wave is MVP Disc Sports’ slightly understable and glidey distance driver, combining accessible distance, controlled turn, and a dependable fade. At higher power, Wave works especially well for hyzerflips, long turnover lines, and S-shaped flights where the disc needs to carry for a long time before a moderate finish. At average power, it can fly straight for a long time and responds well to different release angles, making it useful for shaping a wide variety of distance lines. Wave’s main strength is the balance between turn and fade: it turns enough to generate distance while still finishing predictably. It is especially well suited for players looking for a long-flying and easy-to-shape distance driver without the demands of a strongly overstable mold.
