Swirl Coast - Ken Climo 2026 Disc of the Year
Swirl Coast - Ken Climo 2026 Disc of the Year is a limited edition from Climo Disc Golf naming the Coast its 2026 Disc of the Year. The discs carry a Greetings from Clearwater postcard stamp, and the Swirl plastic gives every disc a unique colour pattern. The plastic is stiffer than Climo Disc Golf's Trophy Line. According to the manufacturer, this run is the straightest flying Coast made so far, with a little more turn and plenty of glide right out of the box. This edition suits players looking for a straight, glidey midrange for long fairway shots and controlled anhyzer lines.
Coast is Climo Disc Golf’s speed 6 midrange, designed around Ken Climo’s vision of combining midrange control with fairway-like carry. It sits between the Belleair and Streak, offering excellent glide, a slight dome, and a stable but manageable flight. Coast handles power well without turning over easily, yet it is not aggressively overstable, making it useful for a wide range of shot shapes. The strong glide and slightly higher speed help it carry farther than a traditional midrange without requiring maximum effort. Coast works especially well for straight shots, hyzers, and controlled anhyzer lines where the disc needs to hold the chosen angle for a long time.
