Drop is Discmania’s overstable approach disc, designed in collaboration with Niklas Anttila to provide dependable control for both backhand and forehand throws. Its low-profile shape feels comfortable in the hand and supports a clean release on accuracy-focused shots. Drop handles plenty of power without turning over easily, carries forward with control, and finishes with a strong, predictable fade. Compared with the Tactic, it is more overstable and has less glide, making the landing point easier to judge even in windy conditions. Drop works especially well for controlled hyzers, flex approaches, forehand shots, and short tee shots where accuracy, reliability, and limited extra carry are more important than maximum distance.
