Founded in 1994 by John Houck and Harold Duval, the brand is now run by the Vahsholtz family in Kansas.

Millennium quickly became popular among competitive players worldwide in the 90s. In Finland, the first “team contract” was made with Millennium, and legendary players like Pursio and Meresmaa have used their discs. Millennium became especially well-known for the Omega SuperSoft, a putter with a grippy surface and soft plastic blend, ideal for Finland’s challenging conditions. Millennium was also the first major disc brand to number its production runs, and some of these runs have become collector’s items.
